Need Help, Noob questions

Hey fellas,

I'm just starting out with some affiliate promotions and have a bunch of questions.

I see this colon cleanser offer with free trial and was thinking of promoting it, but I have a few questions that are stopping me from doing it.

I know of a few forums where they love the free stuff, and was wondering if I post a deal there, do I still need to blank my source of traffic with a double refresh? Its not craigslist or egay, or anything like that. Is this considered blackhat or whitehat?

Also, I have a few domains, and I know now how to mask my source of traffic, but I do still need to host a domain if I'm just using it to mask the affiliate offer?

I wouldn't bother hosting the domains if you plan on promoting on forums & other places. I would just use this:

http://dmrurl.com/ - tiny url clone that double meta's so your ref is blank. Owned by someone on this forum so props to whoever owns it.

well if you are directing traffic to your own landing page you should be fine. but i always blank because they dont need to know everything.

well, nearly all of my affilaite offers do not allow me to advertise their products on free sites, including forums and craigslist.

I advertise there anyways but just refer them to my own hosted domain and give a little bit of info and the link to click to arrive at the affiliate offer.

I know I lose a few sales a day, but I also do not have to worry about losing all of my commissions due to breaking tos.
