[NEED HELP] newbie in SEO - Google not ranking me

Hello guys,

I'm kinda new in SEO, but im trying hard and trying to get most information i can.

So the thing is i have a site, started in December and i made a nice quality unique content and i think i did a good job with on-site SEO. I picked low competiotion (24 in keywordrevealer) long tail keyword and starting with January i bought social signals (1k FB likes, 100+ FB shares, 100+ Google+, 200+ linkedin and 200+ twitter). I did some backlinks from reddit, quora, yahoo answers and forums. Than i followed this guide -> t i n y u r l . c o m / z n n m m y 8 and made around 30 backlinks from the guide and i also made around another 30 "profile" backlinks from dell, yelp, java, amazon, sony, issuu etc. Since February i started to add high PA expired tumblrs to the mix. Now i have around 20 tumblrs with PA 30-40 pointing to my site and one PA 36 weebly.

My anchor is like this:

25% exact kw
20% brand
20% kw variation
10% naked
25% rest- click here, this site etc....


I checked every page with link to my site and they are all indexed. My website is indexed too. When i look at google webmaster tools i see only links from reddit and quora. I think within a low competition i should be at least at top 100, but im nowhere near that. No SERP check tool could find my site ranked anywhere. So my question is am i making something wrong or is it just too early for google to rank my site?

Maybe Google sandbox-ed your site. It happens from time to time. You didn't make all of this tumblrs and backlinks on your first month, right?

Is this the only thing you did to check the competition of the keyword?

What does it mean sanboxed me? am i fucked if this is the case? I delivered the links from end of december till now. Just a few links a day. With tumblrs i'm making max 3 tumblrs a day.

No i checked also first page and on first page is sitting wikihow, ehow, some youtube video and few other sites which don't have proper on-page seo for this keyword.

Probably most of the backlinks you made are no-follow or don't carry much juice, did you at least see a google dance? Try adding some pbn's too in the mix.

I have a mix of do-follow and no-follow. Most of them are do-follow, around 70% i checked that... yeah pbn is my next step, if i wont rank till end of february.

I have noticed with new sites it takes some months to see.any sort of results. My keywords didnt show up in top 100 until about 3-4 months. Now everytime I post an article the keywords start indexing on page 2-4 instantly. So Im guessing its a time thing just wait a month or so to see movement.

Yeah I'll try to wait. I will send there a few PBN links and I'll see what will happen. But I think I have enough juicy links to be in top 100 right now... I don't know.... Maybe it is like you said. I'll get some expired domain for next website.

Ya im confident you have enough link juice I use keyword revealer as well for competition analysis and usually its quite reliable. Best of luck though

Thank you... Yeah I think so, I used long tail pro too and it gave me similar number. And I also checked manually. Wikihow is on first page and by my research it should be pretty easy to outrank it.

Are your backlinks indexed? If not then index them first. If they are, then you are building wrong links altogether. Focus upon blog posts and contextual links from different web2.0 properties.

Yeah they are but I don't see them in Google webmaster tools. Dunno why.

are you using any tool for fast indexing of your links? like INSTANT LINK INDEXER.

Use ahrefs to track your keywords and backlinks, I created my ahrefs account(trial account) on 2nd month of my website, backlinks and keywords were shown 0 when I created first , but they increased day by day, it will track your website faster when you create account

I'm planning to buy senuke vps where ahrefs is included so I will try. Thanks for advice.

That is exactly what I'm doing. Would you do something differently? Any opinion is valuable for me.

Sad you no where you should be somewhere. Today i was checking my sites and i noted one of my site not ranking yet i pumped some socials and press release. A year old site...... same dilema

1. Rechecked my htaccess file and ensured its okay
2. Checked my sitemap.xml noted old unexisting links and recleaned it
3. Updated sitemap in google webmaster ....immediately noted some load page warnings fixed that
4. Sunmitted main page for crawling in google web madters
5 Now i plan to update it with ten articles slowly
Im sure il be in the serps sooner or later

My htaccess is fine, sitemap is up to date and I use plugin which redirects every 404 to my homepage so Google wmt is returning no errors. I have all my page indexed but... I'm adding a fresh content too so that is not a problem. I'll try to wait for some time, than I blast there few PBN links and will wait and if nothing will happen after that, I will dump everything here for a case study and burn it.
