Need help monetizing email list

Dear BHW members,

I recently took up on my adventures of IM and had a pretty decent start, sitting at three sites and 2-300 daily uniques. However, my visitors do not convert very well ( entertainment niche) so I decided to try to build a list in another niche.

I have now managed to build a list with approximately 1 000 subscribers, all interested in making money online. However, I am not sure if they are interested in buying expensive products ssince I got them through a "make money without investment" site. Thats why I need your help to monetize the list.

So here is the info:
Subscribers: 1000
Niche: Make money with no/small investments
All subscribers opted in by free will
No emails sent yet

Here is my ideas;
-Recommend other sites in the same niche and hope for adsense. This means I need to create more sites.
-Recommend sites like PTC and get a referral bonus
-Add a few clickbank reviews

Any tips appreciated. I am completely new to email marketing!

- How often should I send emails?
- How much content should there be in a mail?
- Should I only recommend one site or product in every mail?
- Is there cpc networks that accept ads in emails?

-u should send mails for every alternate day -mainly proofs and also some content -only 1 site per 1 email -frank to say there are against there tos rules but according to me there are no cpc networks that will pay u more !

I have read a bit about email lists. Since my list is targeted, can I expect something like:

- 1000 mails sent
- 300 opens
- 30 clicks links inside

Is that realistic?

Since it was "make money without investmen" then build a small site/blog (not a professional looking one) , post some methods there, add AdSense and a few e books with various prices (7, 23, 37, 54) . The ebooks should match methods so everyone can do it with no investment or buy an e book to learn some secrets

just find some money making ebook upload it to some ppd (sharecash or cleafniles). send them a mail my method of making 100$ day without insvement. rinse and reapeat

I actually got a brilliant idea reading your answers...!

One thing I would be doing is split testing and managing your campaigns with a tracking system (i.e. Infusion soft, constant contact, Adweber etc.). If you are not constantly testing and improving you will most likely be stuck where you are now with no chance of getting out of the rut.

For anybody to give solid advice here we would really have to see the sales emails you are sending out and the products you are pushing. These two things alone will be huge variables in any campaign.

Here's a great tip for you:

Get a quick forum up or membership site...related to making money with small investments and post all sorts of methods that you can freely find on BHW... doesn't matter what: Shared WSOs, member's methods, journeys...and between all this keep an eye on WSOs that promise cash for newbies or other IM products...and push those!

or share everything with them but lock the shares! So each time you post a shared WSO you get a few or lots of filled out offers!

I made a test group out of 100 subscribers to see what to expect. Made a pdf with a good guide and uploaded it to sharecash. The results?

20% clicks the "get free stuff" link but no-one has filled out a survey yet.

I have another mail going out 24h after the first one where I tell more about my guide, what they can expect and why they should download it along with some proof. We'll see if I get better response to that.
