hey guys

i just got a job at a grill company and i wanted to bring some ideas to the table that would improve the business. Its a regular office position, but i want to also help them grow online.

I plan to grow their social profiles, like their instagram (pictures of grilled food, conventions, etc)

I plan to make a better website then current one and rank it on google (First the longtailed keywords, then eventually global grill keywords)

Also, i wanted to look into advertising like on Facebook (demographics) and maybe Adwords. Also for growing the brand, maybe add some PPV from TrafficeVance or DirectCPV (yes i have used them before)

Besides those ideas, i wanted to see if any of the awesome BHW members could point out some ideas im not hitting.

Any ideas i will consider very helpful!

Thank you guys! I will give + thanks for all ideas~!

It's great that you are trying out your best to help this company. Since you will be spending on PPC, don't lose out on your website visitors. Retarget them, follow them around. These people are most likely to buy when they see your product again and again.

Secondly, harness the power of pinterest. If you do it properly (post pictures of grill, food etc) you can expect ty least 100 additional visitors daily (starting from day 1).

Great thank you man :) i totally forgot about pinterest!

Anyone know if its better to make a area specific social media pages?

For example, we have a grill company (Grilling Inc)

Is it better to have 1 instagram for the whole company or make 1 account for Grilling Inc US and 1 account for Grilling Inc UK?

would love to hear more if anyone can add some info =)

maybe just have 1 account for each of the social media sites. don't forget to collect emails!

collecting emails for grill company... hmm so i would post a newsletter every week with discounts/sales/events right?

Also, since Yelp targets local businesses, it would not work for a global product correct?

the newsletter could includes deals and such, but maybe aim more having some engaging content that makes them want to read and learn. if its just deals and sales stuff every time they might start ignoring them; write about grilling tips or recipes and your audience might actually read your emails

Should i use Yelp for this company? It does have a physical location in a big city, but they ship world wide

are customers able to go to this physical location to shop? if they are then I would say yes, if not, it won't make much of a difference

OK i will prolly skip it. Now i think i forgot a important part to selling physical products.. i need to get it into as many outlets as possible correct? (online stores and retail if possible) I think i will start with that and researching different sites to vendor on. What you think about that?

anyone o_o else have experience marketing physical products?

last try :) if anyone can add i would love it
