Need Help (Local SEO)

Hi

Well, I know theres a lot of seo people in here, so I need your help Its all about Local SEO.

What and how can you explain this?

Go to Google.com.au and type this keywords > CASINO NIGHT MELBOURNE

You'll see 1 google places listing on google places results page. I've been doing a lot of citations in to rank in that keyword, and check all the citations made of that site (competitor) he only got less than 10 or 5, but still my Google Page/listing is not appearing on that keyword.

Can someone explain to me, why that site is the only the one appearing in that keyword for GPlaces.

My guess is your page doesn't target that keyword as well as you think.

How come other Gplaces listing is not showing either? (other competitor)
it only shows one GP result.

I think your method to ranked up your keyword is not so good. What you was done to boost your keyword ranking?

It is not the number of links, mate. Google likes it when the reviews are from real people - with Google+ profiles, etc. They probably have that. Also, they probably got their business verified by Google Places. Did you try that yet? Just asking.

There could be many factors as to why your listing is not appearing in results for that particular keyword. Have you verified your listing or have you made changes to it recently? Also, the location that Google has identified for the machine you are using to search for that keyword phrase has a major bearing on what appears in search results.

Moreover, Google also tries to reflect the prominence of a business in the online world with the real world. Perhaps the competitor you are seeing has been deemed as more prominent by Google than your listing.

I think Google takes time to crawl your website. Check same after some days your page will be indexed by Google.
