Hey there everyone!

I have a website which runs WordPress and I have recently installed a SEO plugin, so whenever I'm writing a post, it analyzes its structure and gives me a feedback on what's wrong and what's right. Now, there are things like "Your keyword appears 0.60% times, it is very bad" or something like that. What I'm wondering is this - do I really need to use my keyword a lot or the other content matters?

I'm kinda confused...I haven't done any SEO until today, and still I was getting 10-15 visitors from Google daily, even if my website is only a month old. Plus, I didn't care about those "rules", so sometimes there was no keyword mentioned in the post.

What should I do now? Should I follow those advices by SEO plugin or?
Thanks!

I do not even look at this stuff anymore, all posts under 6% keyword usage and it looks abnormal I believe. I just post and get cool results.

I would go with the suggestions. This way your on site seo becomes a forced habit. Even if your not going to post on a wordpress blog you will know how to structure your posts. Your goal is to rank well in the search engine so I would advise that you stay with in the guide lines. If you don't follow the suggestions then you'll end up creating a bad habit and will slowly fall in the rankings.

This plugins give just general advices. Stick to what your competition do.

You are welcome. For now I stick to All in one SEO for seo plugins if the theme dont have build in SEO panel.

You should follow professional seo advises than seo plugins.....

If you don't want to over optimise the keyword you could use associated words through a tool like LSI keywords I find that the keyword (s) should come into the content naturally anyway

I always try to keep it under 1%, I think the % that the plugin is advising is years old

So I guess I'll just keep writing the content normally and it will be fine...we'll see.
