As the title says, I am using (or that´s my intent) the Nutritionist Astra starter site theme.

Unfortunately, i am facing an issue with something at the bottom i thought it was the footer but it´s not.

Take a look...

I already disabled the theme´s footer and even went to create a new footer template on Elementor but this block or thing just won´t go away.

Thoughts?

Not sure how the wordpress support in this forum is, but you will probably be better off asking the theme developers in ttheir support forum

I think i am better off just changing themes :D :P

Damn, i really liked that one.

Have you tried setting the page setting in Elementor to canvas? That usually removes the footer in most themes including astra

Well, that did take away that annoying block at the bottom but it also took away the menu.

The one that comes with the theme and the custom i made using Elementor.

It´s not displaying either.

Before you ask, i double-checked the conditions and it is set up for "Entire Site".

Also, when i try to create another custom footer for some reason Elementor keeps displaying that annoying block at the bottom.

That´s it, I AM DONE! Switching theme now.

Let´s see what i can find here.

Remember @Festinger shared his MyThemeShop themes somewhere around the Members Download section, i will check it out to see what i can find there.

Thanks!

Yeah, when canvas is activated it doesn't allow for headers and footer TEMPLATES across site, but you can still have them in there manually no problem.

I use a mix of oceanWP and astra for designing and not sure why the footer would still be there if you deactivated it within the native theme customizer settings.

Usually my process for astra is: Disable header and footers within native theme customizer, set page setting for elementor to full width then build headers and footers within the elementor theme builders. You have seen to have done the same so its very strange that it's still appearing

Let me double-check this, i am prone to do crazy shit and not remember :D :P

I don´t mind using OceanWP, i love that theme as well but since Astra's latest relaunch and with so many starter sites i just had to switch.

Looking at Fest MyThemeShop upload and there are a few i really like that will help me reduce the customization work a ton, if i can get them to load <2 seconds i will be happy regardless of the theme i choose.

Nah, same shit.

End it up changing themes for one from MyThemeShop (Cool) and even tho i deactivate and delete both Astra and the Astra Starter Site plugin whenever i visit the site it still displays the layout and design from the Astra starter site i download it.

This just gets getting better and better!

Never mind, i forgot to download this new theme demo site :D :P #mybad

Just use Divi from the GPL club called GPLDL

Then copy any layout from any other theme

Easy and fast

Have you tried creating Footer from the template section of elementor? For me that always works and the created footer takes over the default one that comes with the demo

The idea is really tempting but just to think I have to switch to Divi from Elementor makes my head explode.

Even tho i am having issues (first time this happens to me), I am just getting very familiar with Elementor and having to start over using a different page builder it´ts not appealing to me.

I remember using Divi a couple of years ago and i didn´t like it one bit.

I am sure i can find a theme that fits my need that i can edit/customize with Elementor.

Thanks for the advice

tho

Cheers!

Yes, of course.
