Currently trying to start up a personal finance twitter account. Need help finding who to help promote my tweets.

I would start the mother/slave method, create 50+ accounts to start then engage with the top creators in your niche. Setup the child accounts specifically so they drive traffic back to the mother page.

This is the best way for you to grow genuine followers.
 
Several guides on here for effective methods to grow genuine followers. Make sure you interact a healthy amount with others as well, goes a long way.
