NEED HELP in scrapebox

hello, I'm planning to buy a scrapebox now, but i'm confused since its a 1 PC license. My computer is scheduled to be reformat this coming saturday. If I used it now (because I'm excited to use), can i still use my license after the reformat procedure? thanks

Yes you can. However I think you need to transfer your license when you have reinstalled your computer. Contact the support or just click activate license when you're done, they are usally very quick with the transfer.

Another tip you can make duplicate copies of the program on the same machine to run more then one instance. I think you are able to name the running application too ie. scrapebox 1, scarebox 2.

If it doesn't again on the same machine you will have to transfer the license, I think you can do this once per month.

Yes, no problem with using the SB license. The licensing scheme for SB is probably tied to the processor not the hard drive.

Are you sure? I have contacted SB support but don't get answers.

I see i can now test proxies against Yahoo and Bing but don't see the function in SB. I see i can skip time testing with the proxies...... function is not on my SB. And more from this.

To the OP:

ScrapeBox allows one machine transfer per month (within reason - if someone is transferring every single month and is moving from machine to machine each month or the like, I think they might have good reason to get suspicious and put on the clampdown). And yeah, in general license transfers are like butter...if you're a legit licensee.

I can't remember if the policy is such that you have to wait a month after purchase, but here's a thought - wait until you have your new machine. Spend the time reading about sbox, watching the official and loopline's videos, and so forth. There's plenty to be learned - both before and after you have it.

loopline's scrapebox faq site has all the nitty gritty.

And yeah, you can run multiple instances on a single computer. Just copy the whole sbox folder to a separate folder and launch the app from there (do not copy the new folder under the existing sbox folder). Protip - after doing that, in the new instance, go into options -> name your instance of scrapebox and you can give this one a new name, avoiding confusion when you have 18 instances open lol.
