Hi guys:

I think that i need help for google shopping ads. please suggest that I really missed what optimize skills.
please advise what can I optimize the shopping ads campaign(Landing pages is not considered).

1. I have a dropshipping web store, selling in google home & garden category. - New project, New website, New google ads account and without any audiences.
2. In this moment, GMC free listing and google shopping ads is the only way that how I get the traffic and visitors.

This is my campaign about 50 products testing process in 7 DAYS, Budgets US $ 25 / day:

First day: I started a new standard shopping campaign, The bidding method is: Manual,When the price per click is increased to 0.9 US dollars, I got the impressions and clicks enough.
Account Conversion Setting: Item View, add to cart, purchases. - Spent about $25. Got about 30 clicks. No purchase.

Second day: I got enough conversions by "Item View" for change the bidding as ROAS(Just for reduce the CPC cost) , Spent $ 25, Got about 50 clicks. Average click price about $0.6, Account Conversion Setting: Item View, add to cart, purchases. No purchase.

Third day: I got conversion: add to cart - 3 times, purchases -2 times. Spent $ 25, Got about 50 clicks, Account Conversion Setting : Item View, add to cart, purchases. 3 Purchases.

Fourth day: I changed the conversion setting, use the campaign conversion, just 1 in ads : Purchase, Spent $35, Got about 30 clicks, The CPC price of several products has reached between 1-2 US dollars. No purchase.

Fifth day: I changed the conversions again, Spent $ 40, Got about 75 clicks. Average click price about $0.6, Conversion setting: Item View, add to cart, purchases. No purchase.

Sixth day:I lowered the price of the products, about 40% off,Spent $ 40, Got about 75 clicks. Average click price about $0.6, Conversion setting: Item View, add to cart, purchases. No purchase.

Seventh Day: Spent $ 40, Got about 75 clicks. Average click price about $0.6, Conversion setting: Item View, add to cart, purchases. No purchase. And Stopped.

Result: I spent US $ 220, 3 purchase profits: USD $ 35
So, I lost US $ 185, SAID!

Please suggest me the next way.

From the conv. value column in the screenshot above, it appears that you assigned values to your secondary conversions.

Edit them and make them not use a
Value.

Set purchases as your primary conversion action for the account, and set the other actions as secondary.

Once you have these settings in order, relaunch the campign. It will perform much better.

P.S: Work on optimizing your shopping feed.

Thank you very much.

The first time I setted multiple conversions to run ROAS bids for reduce the CPC click costs, Is it correct?

And I got 3 times purchase conversions only,
Is it suitable for ROAS bids?
Because suggest from Google ADS manager, they said: Got 30 purchase conversions then change to ROAS will be better?

Try to do this manual or use fb/Twitter ads because it's more cheaper than Google ads and you can Target geo.
Thanks, I had try to run FB ads before, No purchase, and lost a lot of money, I can't find the correct Niche products on FB.

Twitter ads, Maybe it's not suitable for my products. If I have no choice, Maybe I will try it.

You're welcome

For target ROAS you need 15 conversions over the last 30 days.

But this wasn't approached with the right manner from the beginning.

After applying the suggestions above for your conversions in the account, switch to manual CPC, set it at $1 or less (check the CPC's in your niche).

And let the campaign run for a while, add negative keywords every 24-48 hours, work on your shopping feed (this is really important), after getting 15 purchases switch to target ROAS.

Hope this helps.

I am selling garden decor products, keywords such as garden statues, can you advise me is that a good NICHE?

Let's say that CPC is $0.6 (based on your current campaign)

The average conversion rate for eCommerce with Google ads is 2.81%.

Based on this benchmark, you need 35.5 clicks to get a sale which will cost roughly $21.3.

So it doesn't make sense to sell low-priced items in this niche; it would be better to focus on the higher-ticket items to get better results.

Yes, this is my mind too. Thanks a lot.
It seems the only way for me also. :(

Optimize your GMC & Shopping fees, fix all errors, and Work on your Quality Score.. Also, make your campaign not use a value..
Optimizing your GMC and shopping feed is part of optimizing your quality score, also try to make attractive things on your product page to make your customer rest longer on your online store, that will optimize your Quality score too, try to search for that, it will be helpful and work on what I told you above it will absolutely make your campaign converting much better..

Just to let you know, Google has low, medium, and high-quality traffic, if your quality score is low, google will send you 70% of low-quality traffic and 30% mixed.

I appreciate your advice very much.
"make your campaign not use a value.."
I will try this first.
