So i'm planning to transfer our domains from godaddy to namecheap. All our sites are in the first page of G (TOP 2-3-4-5 in SERPS) in the keywords in all our sites. I'm just wondering if transferring of domain will affect SEO (either good or bad). I need the most experienced and most veteran answer about this. Thank you

You will drop in rankings for a few days. Then when Google figures out that you changed registrar they will restore your ranks. [From my experience]

Yeah IMHO your rankings will be dropped suddenly .
Because your site went down for some time ..
After your site gone setup again have some little Link Building nd your site will again take back their spots .

Why should his site go down?

I believe it's possible to change your registrar, and even your host, without downtime.

so which is which?? does it affect or not? and why would it have a downtime?? please clarify your statement mates

My rankings all dropped the day I changed registrars. It's been about a week now and my most competitive are back to the same spot with some linkbuilding but the rest didn't come back up.

In my experience I've seen it drop for a few days but usually jumps back up as long as the pages are 100% the same as the old. If you make too many changes that's when things get trickier.

i see.. so it would really affect SEO? does anyone also had any experience with this situation? because if it will affect our SERPs, we would rather stick in godaddy than suffer from the SERP because its a money site.
