Hi Readers!

Based on your positive response for my previous thread, I am looking for your assistance for one of my client’s website. I am working for a client (https://www.ssbtosuccess.com/) since last 5 months.
Unfortunately as soon as I take over the website for working, it was impacted by Helpful Content Update. That resulted in a drastic drop in impression and clicks.

Before The Impact:
Impressions: 20K Per Day
Clicks: 300 Per Day

After Impact:
Impressions: 5500 Per Day
Clicks: 50 Per Day

I tried to do some on page SEO including technical SEO. In last few days the clicks has again increased to nearly 250 per day but the impressions has remained the same.

Now, I am looking for a few answers that you all can help me with:

Query 1: How I can fully recover from the impact of helpful content update?
Query 2: Why the clicks increased suddenly without increasing the impressions?
Query 3: What I should do to improve its backlinks and increase its traffic?

Thanks for reading. Looking for your effective responses.

1) improve content, keep adding unique content.
2) check gsc.
3) add linkable content, unique images, do image seo.

Generally Google updates can cause fluctuations for everyone. You should focus on creating high quality content and buying good backlinks from high authority blogs. This may help you avoid this situation in the future.

Query 1: How to fully recover from the impact of a helpful content update?

  4. Refine Meta Descriptions:

  1. Quality Content Creation:
    • Continue creating high-quality, shareable content. Content that provides unique value is more likely to attract natural backlinks.

You talk less :D It's all old knowledge.

Let's tell how to pass HCU (Helpfull Content Update).

1) improve content, keep adding unique content.
2) check gsc.
3) add linkable content, unique images, do image seo.
You are an idiot. How do you write content to pass HCU (Helpfull Content Update). What do you understand by useful content?

You have to understand the search intent now even more carefully. Google is no longer ranking any "content" website for the same queries. It is seeking websites that are fully relevant to the topics and appear as "experts" in those subjects.

Study the clickthrough pattern of your users

Where do they enter (which queries) and where do they end their journey?

Study the ending pages.

Do they deliver on search intent?

Are they confusing?

Do you call them to action to click to related content [recommended]?

Being in the same niche I will say it's all about copying the top competing pages, simple ux/ui experience & powerful backlinks.

These are key to better rankings here.

I found UX annoying on your website on clicking the hamburger menu icon twice it redirects to ads page.

I guess your bounce rate is high is that so?

Try to publish more and more guides.

Make use of Youtube, Facebook groups, & quora these are good sources to drive targetted traffic.

You need good backlinks here, your link profile is below average just look at the DR & RD ratio.

You can also buy a .in powerful expired domain and redirect it to your website.

I have built a few directly on .in expired domains.

To bounce back from the impact, make your content more helpful and varied. Check why clicks went up—maybe tweak your keywords. For better traffic and backlinks, create shareable content and connect with communities in your field.

Use GSC to find what keywords pages we're ranking for, compared to now.

Optimize content for terms that have stuck throughout the update.

These are the keywords where your pages still match intent, and with decent content will rank.

Create new posts targeting dropped keywords.

Thanks for the responses. I have a point in mind. I am researching on how I can implement something that can help me with getting the Tropical Authority on my website. Do you mind giving any suggestions?
