Need Help For A Friend

Hi Fellas,

Basically, I have a buddy who is earning most of his income through eBay...making thousands with it...and being squeaky clean in the process. (NO BH stuff, none whatsoever)

HOWEVER, just a couple of weeks ago, after a streak of earnings, his account was suddenly subject under quality check according to him, and his commissions are held.

What do you think can be done about it?

Did someone from the community experienced this before?

i don't know ebay well, what i already know (reading this forum): even if you do it totally whitehat you can get in trouble with anything which is related to the ebay & paypal combo...

I'd say that it's GayPal holding his funds, not egay. I haven't sold on there in almost a year but all egay did was charge me fees, not pay me cash!

If it's pp then it's a customer complaint, or a customer scamming him and trying a chargeback.

If it's actually an eb problem then he's prob run into that authorized reseller thing, the

Code:

 "Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program"

. If he violated that then since pp and eb are one big evil cabal now they'll freeze one account if you have issues in the other account. They may be holding his pp payments since they think he wasn't authorized to sell the things.

I don't know a lot about ebay, I'm only a buyer there.
I know only that eb@y is a fucking shit because doesn't let seller to give negative feedbacks.

well if he was all white hat he should not worry much. if they ban him then its hard luck but then also he can try calling them

He should be able to come out clean in the end but it is a big pain if they hold up your funds while they investigate. Some times it is just a matter of some jerk making a fake complaint. There are so many scammers on both sides of eBay. I'd advise him to try and talk to someone personally. Usually if you get an actual person you can speed it up so much faster because then he can fax over whatever info they need and probably get the whole matter resolved the same day instead of playing email tag for two weeks.

Your friends problem is he doesn't realize how it works. He can sit there with his little white hat on and hope that he doen't get banned. Or he can develop an us vs them attitude and hose ebay & pp for what he can get. You say it's not right? Well they are already convicting him even though he isn't doing anything wrong might as well hit them back.

If your buddy hasnt done anything wrong then you should have no worry...Ebay are pretty good like that & easy to communicate with unlick paypal
