Need help finding where to buy bitcoin in my state!

Hi BHW. I live in NY state and I can't seem to find a bitcoin exchange to buy bitcoins from. I know there are a few store locations but I live too far away from those to go there, so it needs to be a virtual exchange.

I tried coinbase, but they have an insane verification process before you can use their site and they also track your bitcoin usage.

I haven't been able to find any other bitcoin exchanges other than coinbase that sell bitcoins to NY state residents. Anyone know any other places? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: I'm specifically looking for either credit/debit card or paypal. Don't want it to be through wiring or any other way.

Already tried them, they don't sell bitcoins in NY

Just did some googling and it is banned in NY

Withdraw your dollars & take in hand

There are no local exchanges near where I live, the only ones are too far away from me.

How is localbitcoins banned if it's peer to peer? If true, DAMN
There are 20 bitcoin atm spread out in NY via bitcoin atm radar
You can't tell they banned if 15 of em are updated online

I am not sure if that still holds true to this day.

Either way it's too far away from where I live. As in hours. I am not driving hours to buy bitcoin.
