So I have been hovering around the forum for a bit and finally got an account so I could get the social signifiers package by indian and that other guy... So maybe you guys can give me a hand

I run a decal/sticker website. Its my username if you want to take a look (you know you want to)
Thing is, I am having a hard time getting good traffic. I barely get any really, so I have been working on better marketing. I have used adwords and I get okay results, nothing staggering and usually not worth the money since conversion is low on my site.

I have been around the forum and picked up a few ideas though. My customer base is in the auto tuning world, so I started looking up forums and scraping emails (building a list) and I will be sending out some coupons/deals etc. So far I have about 5K emails.

I already advertise on a nissan 240sx forum, get decent traffic but thats it.

I need a real source! any ideas?

Great question. There are a variety of things you can try to start driving more traffic to your site. How far have you gotten doing onsite SEO for your website? I took a look at your source code. It appears that you have included relevant keywords in the meta tags of the pages that I looked at. One thing I noticed is that you haven't built each page around a target keyword. This would entail putting that target keyword an appropriate number of times in website copy and then including it in meta tags, title tags and alt tags (which I noticed were missing from many of your images.) Try putting more content on your pages.

You can also drive more traffic by performing some offsite SEO. Create external properties on free business listing websites that include your business information and links to your website. You could also use a service such as Yext to accomplish this with less effort and develop a more consistent web presence. You should also create a business page on major social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google Plus and upload content frequently.

I would continue to use Adwords to drive traffic to your site. It seems like you have a product that would lend itself well to online conversions. If you are having only moderate success with it, perhaps try looking for information on optimizing your adgroups. This would include linking ads to relevant landing pages and streamlining your conversion funnel to get more people who are clicking to buy.

Also, you may want to check out some books on website usability if you are doing your own website design. I think your site has a lot of valuable content however I can see where some users may abandon a conversion funnel. For example when I clicked on a sticker design, filled out the drop down boxes and clicked "add to cart", the view cart button on the right side of the screen was very difficult to read. There is also a lot of clutter on the pages making it easy for users to get distracted and abandon the conversion.
