I make my money coming up with shocking angles to news stories that get people to share my posts. I make money off the list that goes with my stories. My problem is I am running out ideas regarding dramatic/semi-trolling news/controversial topics. Which sources do you guys recommend besides forums? If you say social networks, can you share how I can gauge 'heat' re certain topics?

    Thanks in advance, guys

LOL but you have to admit, the way they spin news gets people excited and gets advertisers to part with their ad dollars. I don't cover political news but another niche. The problem with covering political news is that there are tons of conservative news blogs out there. Easy to get lost in the mix. If I were to do it, I'd go super-progressive-less competition plus most of today's generation tends to lean left anyway.

Thanks, I already use this. Any other sources that show how popular a topic is or how much drama it gets? Something other than political news.

Tell people that Soylent Green isn't made out of people. They'll be shocked to know it's made only of soybeans and lentils.
