Need help developing revenue model for my website

This winter I'll be rolling out a website fit for a developing niche market. The site is a brokerage site similar to Priceline.com which will match a user with a certain apparel item they are looking to purchase based on size/style. The site would connect users with eBay auctions, facebook posts, tweets, and blogs in which these items are being sold. They would click the link posted on the site & then jump to the certain post.

What would be the best way for me to earn revenue beside banners on the side for advertising that doesn't take away from the user experience too much?

ANY HELP/ADVICE/CRITICISM IS WELCOME

So it will be a aggregator of items being sold on other websites like,ebay/facebook etc.?
May be you could have text inline ads promoted by clicksor or adbrite,which will have ads on certain type of keyword placed in your content.

or integrate adsense in your content. contextual ads apart from banner ads, but not flooding them ofcourse.
 
I find text inline ads are pretty annoying, I'd rather have deliberate advertising than make it stealthy. I was thinking of integrating adsense into each listing so that when they click the link, they get a pop-up. Something that would go on in the background & could be easily x-ed out of.
 
If anything I would leave the coupon peddling to the official twitter account for the site. Probably not to local shops but to sites that sell apparel. Probably similar to a rep code

I know ebay has an affiliate program - haven't used it personally but it looks like you get paid per click. Might be useful for those items at least and def wouldn't take away from the user experience. Perhaps you could charge people to post "featured" items for sale on your site. Other than that I'm not sure. Good luck with your venture.

Great idea that completely slipped my mind. I would definitely have to look further into becoming an eBay affiliate. Does anyone know if there are any requirements.
 
Cmon guys, everyone claims to be on this blog making serious money. But no one can help me find a way to generate more revenue?
