Hi, I have a diving themed free wp theme that I need to use - a friend of mine picked it for his scuba diving blog. Unfortunately all php files are coded with some sort of base_64 that I was unable to decode using resources on the net.

I need to decode it for potential unwanted code but mostly because I have to translate it.

Any coder here can give me hand or at least some instructions?

I have attached the theme (no exe's so i didn't scanned it).

    Thanks in advance

try this link . Copy and past the base64 code and see if it decodes it. Then replace the code without the junk links in it.

Sometimes even if you change the code, it will show an error message about removing the links. Thats the part that I need to figure out a work around.

I'm afraid you'll just have to go through and decode it by hand. The way he obfuscated it (several layers of base64_encode, uuencode and who knows what else) is just more tedious than complex, so... it shouldn't be too too hard (if you're familiar with PHP)... just time consuming.

I just took a quick scan through.. but it looks like all his shenanigans are in index.php, footer.php and header.php.

Yeah, also those are the files I need to translate...
I'm not that good with php, so I cannot do it by hand. If someone can help me I can pay a few bucks...

I tried also to view the source code, but I am not sure on me that I can correctly separate the php files... I did it on footers without issue but this is worse...
