Need help converting views --> Followers

Hi BHW!

I've recently started out with instagram reels and trying to grow completely new pages.
I have figured out ways to get good content for reels and each video is generating around 2-3k unique views.

However, 99% of these views do not convert to followers. I need some suggestions / tips on how
what I should do to make sure that at least some viewers become followers.

Reels views dont convert so easily, as a normal user keeps watching reels and scrolls down, they dont follow.

But you can do a few things as CTA :

1.Edit the caption after 2 days and ask to follow your account, mention it.
2.End of reel add a slideshow of following you for more such content.

Thanks for the input appriciate it!

I've noticed that the classic follow / unfollow still seems to work quite well. However, since
I want my followers to be of a certain nieche interest and also be active, should I try the follow/unfollow
on the people who liked my reels? Or is there another way which is more effective in gaining followers in a certain nieche?

Try with likers of niche and with your competitors, whose audience you want to target.
 
Reels views getting converted to followers is a long term process. Keep posting reels Don't lose motivation
If any one reel gets viral you can get several thousands of followers in no time. Keep telling viewers to follow/like on every reel ending

It also depends on niche of the content. In some niches, it can be hard to get followers.

Thanks for the motivation, will def. keep pushing content! Luckuly I've been getting a few 000's of views on some of the reels.
Makes it easier to keep pushing :D

Thanks for the input. Will take that into consideration ^^
 
You could also try the mother/child method, which is secondary accounts (childs) follow the accounts that have seen your reels (you can use a bot to do this) and then shout out to your main account(mother) converting them to followers. But you'd have to have good content on the child accounts as well.

I've been experimenting with different reels to see which ones are working the best.
Found one type that usually gets 2-3k views so I kept posting that type. Last one I posted
blew up over night and got 15.5k views and I gained organic followers from it!

Started the account on may 19th. Here are some stats from the dashboard:

Accounts reached (impressions): 17 557
Interactions: 1865
Profile visits: 497
Followers gained: 39

1. Decide on a nieche
2. 5-10 different types of videos
3. Narrow down to 2-3 type of videos which pull views
4. Keep posting the same type of video you have success with

In summary: You just have to keep trying and testing different videos. My first 5 videos got ZERO views
but I kept testing and trying new forms of content untill I found one that works.

Btw if anyone still interested / reading, I might turn this shit into a journey thread now
that my account seems to be picking up steam. Will post the link here if I make it a journey!
