I have been selling on ebay for a couple of months and now get a message from Paypal asking me to provide ID, address, supplier info, and SSN.
Obviously I've been using a 'nick name' which does not show on any of my ID or bill; and I don't want to provide any SSN info to them..
Now I have 5 days to provide what they want or they will put limit on my account.
I am thinking of before getting limited, I will just send all the money out to another paypal account CLOSE this one by myself.Because I don't have those info they want and once this account gets limited, I am concerned
that my other paypal account which might link to this one would be limited, too.
Also, if I close this account and later a buyer want to issue a return via ebay and I have to refund the buyer,what can I do ??Can I use other paypal accounts to issue refund. I don't want to do anything to harm my ebay
account or getting negative feedbacks on it.So if someone wants refund I would just do it. I did not link this 'stealth' paypal account to my ebay.So would that be safe?
To sum up:
1. Is it a good idea to close my paypal account before limited in this situation?
2. Can I use other ppal acount to refund buyer if I close the one I used to receive payment? If not, how the refund's gonna work?
3. Will my ebay account be affected by closing this paypal account in this situation if I did not link anything to it?
