Hello everyone,

I've been looking for the “best” domain registrar (especially one that doesn't steal or suspend domains) for a few weeks now.
I'm looking for a way to register a domain anonymously (crypto / vcc loaded with crypto), and here's what I was able to find:

Providers to avoid:
njal.la
propreregistraire
easydns
onlinenic
eurodns
ownregister
flokinet

Those who are serious:
tonic.to
namesilo.com
blueangel.host
xuid.ru

What do you think in 2024? Are they still serious?

Another point, if I've understood correctly, it's better to choose a domain that doesn't comply with the DMCA (.to, .so, .su, .ru) ?

I'd like to get some expert advice on the subject.

Thx

Why is namecheap not on the list ? I heard good things about them as well

I have several hundred domains at Dynadot - been with them for years and never had a problem

Also have domains with NameCheap and Porkbun - never an issue with these either......

Also, I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a "bullet proof" ICAAN accredited domain registrar/provider.....

If your caught with your pants down, all of them will either seize the domain's, close your account or report you to the appropriate authorities

If you choose to risk going with some shady alternatives, then what little protection you do have is going out of the window ( renewal notices etc etc)

whats wrong with flokinet, easydns and eurodns? Have you tried todaynic?

I haven't used them yet, but I've read on various posts of users who have had domains blocked with them. Do you personally use them without problems?

Fair point, I moved on from nja.la after seeing the enormous amount of people getting their domains stolen. I'm on flokinet now

Namecheap suspends account directly and you domain is with them then.
What exactly was your friend into?

Lots of adult sites with copyrighted content last very long there, never seen a removal.

Was it hacking/phising/blackhat?

bulletproof domain don't exist, because the ICANN or whatever organization similar to it that is overseeing the TLD you have registered on, is the daddy of any registrar, as in even if You were yourself the registrar, there is nothing to ignore, they just have power over you, like if you were drunk female and 19 in a bar outside of Manchester by yourself. you. will. get. raped.
if the business you're running is NOT domain sensitive, get an ssl certificate issued to a bulletproof IP instead, and use that. yes, you can add SSL to ip's. good luck

How to get a bulletproof IP?
How long can it be leased?

Lol anyone who said Namecheap is a complete idiot. Namecheap will seize your domain with ANY complaint! EasyDNS, EuroDNS will both do the same. Don't believe it, make a URL called UFCfights or anything similar and see what they do.

Run from those, AVOID BigRock too, they froze and seized a domain because of a false NetCraft Takedown Notice.

There's still a few bulletproof ones out there, and they've been mentioned on BHW in different places. Look around and you'll find some. But DEF avoid any of those above, unless you want to get your domain name seized and frozen.

z.com is also a good domain name hosting, they are trustworthy i have got 10-15 domain on them and have no problem with them.

Namecheap summed up perfectly.

When I constantly see people recommending Namecheap for domain registration or Hostinger for hosting - you clearly know it's users that don't receive abuse notices, otherwise they wouldn't be providing such poor advice.

The easiest go-to is: if it's a US-based/registered company, it's highly likely that they're compliant with the DMCA and therefore you're under constant risk, unless you're incredibly lucky with a Litnics or similar host of this world. Very rare to come by however and requires a lot of trust and mutual coop...
