Need Help Brainstorming Ways To Get FB Votes

Hey BHW!

I wanted my first started post to be a share but I need some ideas right now and the share I'm working on won't be validated for a few weeks.

GOAL: To have my wife's school in the top 20 for a challenge on FB. Top 20 schools receive grants for $500,000 to be used to enhance learning. Challenge requires FB users to click a Vote button. Top 1 (right now) is 4,500+ votes. #20 (right now) is around 3,000 votes. Challenge ends in 4 weeks.


EXISTING IDEAS:

1.) Create a fan page, use "invite" services to get fans and ask them to vote.
2.) Same as 1 except offer "freebie" in exchange for vote
3.) Buy several thousand accounts and manually do the voting

A macro/software won't work - to my knowledge - because it requires the person be a fb user and you can only vote once.

Never mind.

Based on the current rate of voting... it would probably take 60,000+ votes to get in the top 20 by the end of the contest.

Unless someone has 100,000 accounts lying around... I guess I'll just get back to work on other project.

I'll be in touch in a few weeks with the unique share I promised.
