The begining of the year I started 5 new websites, all of which are product review sites that I could monitize using amazon and adsense. The competition for all 5 sites was next to nothing. Top 10 results were amazon, tagert, walmart, buy etc so I figured itd be easy as hell to get to number #1.

After 10 weeks im ranking anywhere from 100-500 for all of my domains and I dont know why. I have good, valuable, content on my sites and all my onsite SEO is good. For backlinks each site has anywhere from 1000-2000 links. I use scrapebox on the sites, ive used services here that submit my articles to 100s of article directories, i use an article network service EZArticle Link, ive bought high PR links, profile links, I've backlinked my backlinks and still nothing seems to be working!!

What am I doing wrong?? I figured after 10 weeks these sites should be ranking at least in the top 10. The thing that pisses me off the most is that for a couple of these sites I have some competition (sites like mine reviewing a product) and they are out ranking me with little to no backlinks. One guy has 10 profile links, ranked 2nd, one page of content on his site and you can't even read it because the english is so bad.

Can anyone give me some advice on what I should do?? At first this was fun now its just becoming a drag.

deeep linking., and focus on a single site, use anchor text,
get backlink from quality i.e. high pr site.

u need more blinks. and keep pinging ur site/ rapid indexer of sb.

Did you do your keyword research? Who are you competing against on a page one?

If it's low volume product related keyword you can dominate it in no time. Create a bunch of feeder sites on Web 2.0 and Wikis by hand and post some of your content there, point to money site. Create some videos and point to your money site in description.

As cooldude7 said, link to inner pages.

Then blast a lot of spam links to your videos and feeder sites. The key is to spam feeder sites, not money site directly.

Rinse and reapeat. Take massive action daily.

Like I said my competition on page one are sites like amazon, walmart, target, that feature of specific product. For example lets say one of my niches was "power drills". I type that in and I get results at amazon, walmart, buy, for a black and decker drill, or a crafstman, or a dewalt. There is no on page SEO for any of my competitors, and very very few backlinks, less than 50 id say.

I have created well over 100 feeder sites for each of my domain, mostly at article directories like ezine, goarticle etc. I have also blasted the shit out of these feeder sites. With one domain I selected 75 buffer sites that have the highest PR and blased them with scrape box, they each have 1K-1.5K links pointing to them.

The only thing you suggested that I havnt done is videos. Ill add some to youtube and point them at my site. Other than that I have done what seems like everything and am not getting the results I expected. So frustrated right now!!

When you go for a brand name keywords, you will deal with the producer sites and though they have no backlink, it's very hard to outrank them.
In addition, amazon, target... are have a lot of trust from google. You can gain a lot of link in a short time but you can't do that with trust. My advice is be more patient, add more value to your site and next time, beware of amazon and other authority sites... They are not easy to be outranked as you might think

Hey Guys !

I still suffering by google dance,I don't know actually what happened but on few keywords my site was on top search engine ranking but suddenly i'm disappear on those keywords... WHY ?

I am not going for any brand name keywords, so I dont have to try to beat out manufacturer sites. For example if im in the tools niches my keywords are "power drill reviews" or "hand saw reviews".

When I was doing keyword research guys said they would look for the top 3 sites to be amazon, buy, walmart, etc since they would be easily outranked since there on site SEO was not optimized for that keyword.

Anyways I just hope its a time iusse. Ill just keep going for another month and see where Im at, its just REALLY hard to stay focused and motivated when you see no results.

Let the things settle down. Don't worry about the site disappearing.

Some of my sites disappeared from the index completely before
taking over the page one.

When you are blast promoting relatively new site is it jumping
all over the place.

Go for a layered linking.

Make video, point to money site. Create a few Web 2.0 feeder sites,
embed video in the posts there, point links to money site.

Do a massive article blast with AMR, rotate links between money site,
Web 2.0, and videos. Collect URL of published articles and do a xrumer
or Scrapebox blast on them.

Also, collect all URLs of all your web properties (including spam links),
go to links2rss and create RSS feeds for everything. Submit RSS
everywhere. As a minimum do Feeedage and Feedagg manually and
then use software like RSS Submitter.

As a bonus you can socially bookmark all the URLs on as many of
Scuttle/Pligg/PHPDug sites as you can (use Bookmarking Demon or
similar blaster).

And stay focused and motivated, mate. Think positively. Delay
gratification. SEO is a long term strategy that will pay you over
and over again.

As a rule of thumb I do not expect significant results in tough niche
in less than three months. The results usually show up much faster
but I can feel good even if I don't see immediate changes in ranking.

Good luck, matey.

Are you using your keywords as your anchor text? If you aren't, thats definitely your problem.

You can PM me your site and what youre trying to rank for if you want and Ill check it out later today

Yes all back links have my main keyword as anchor text, I mix it up a little but try to keep it as related as possible.

What video sites do you recommend that you can add a link to? I just did one for youtube. Tried a couple other like metacafe and they dont allow links.

your on-page could be overoptimized, spammy or stuffed, or you are a thin site..

if you figure out what you are ranking well for that could give you a better idea

Sounds to me that you're doing way too much too soon. 1-2k in 2-3month is a bit touchy *especially* for low competition keywords. Think about it. If there's no competition for a keyword, how can one guy all of a sudden get a surge of 2k links for a keyword that everyone else around the web is ignoring? I would start w/ a new site and go slowly. A bit at a time and see how things improve with every bit that you do.

Got featured on Oprah? Appeared on a front page of Techcrunch?
There are thousands of possibilities.
