You can use your webmail in cpannel to create it or if you have your own domain cpannel then you can create one there.

I have my own domain cpannel and i just created there and to read mails i just forward the incoming mails to my other mail id.suppose if you send me a mail to admin at website dot com i will receive it in admin at yahoo dot com

    Hope you understood.

You can easily create an email from Cpanel and then use it in Outlook or Thunderbird .

Or if you want fancy email, Google Apps for you domain has a free version. You just point your MX DNS record at them. put this into google : Google Apps for Free. I'd link you but I don't have enough posts yet.
