Just recently bought scrapebox. I tried using it but all the proxies I used are bad. I don't know what to do now. I can't scrape any links at all.

I'm from the Philippines. Can anyone help me to resolve this?? Thanks a lot.

I'm really frustrated about this.. :(

Your proxies are bad according to SB. Just find a fresh proxy list for SB in this forum.

I also encountered this problem! Now hard to find a proxy for the scraper from Google. I wanted to give you the link to view the video, but I have yet limit, I think will understand

You should either buy private proxies or check out looplines videos on YouTube he shows you how to find more proxy sources.

An easy way to find public proxies is to use the search engines. Take an existing proxy and search for it in quotes (include the port #). Copy the URLS into a text file and import it into Scrapebox. Run the proxy finder and see which URLs return proxies in SB, delete the ones that do not. Repeat using several proxies and you'll build a big list of public poxy sites for SB.

What he means is you can scrape for things like
":80" + ":3128" + ":8080"

Also if you click the drop down arrow on Google, you can sort by newest results so you are likely to get the freshest public proxies. Then you can load these URLs into the proxy checker and scrape new ones all the time. The standard list of proxies that comes with Scrapebox is so beaten to death by the number of users that I can't even get 5 personally out of it.

Time is money so I now even Scrape with private proxies now.

Another option is to sign up for a few Bing APIs. It takes 30 seconds and then you won't need to use proxies when scraping Bing. While you'll limit your search results somewhat, you'll save yourself hours of headaches with proxy finding.

I personally recommend that you just get private proxies if you have the money. They can cost as little as $9/month but you don't have to spend a ton of time scraping proxies and testing them. Public ones burnout really fast since soo many people are using them.

Checkout some of the BHW providers that I have done reviews on: http://www.scrapeboxproxiesx.com/

If you are thinking you want to go the private route let me know and I can help you get setup.

Thx for this site Markthedude it's really useful.

Here is a proxy site that i use to scrape proxies from. Works as source in the Scrapebox Proxy harvester. Uncheck the built-in sources and add this one:

Code:
http://elite-proxies.blogspot.com/

I just scraped 5100 proxies from that source of which 2500 passed the IP test in Scrapebox. And this from just 1 source.

just buy some private proxy from fiverr...without fast proxy u'r not using the full potential of SB! :)

if you are just starting out and don't wan to spend anymore, check out the proxies list sections in BHW..there are quite a few good threads that updates good and working proxies list with low ms..

I own a scrapebox and Im currently purchasing some good proxies from a reliable source. You should do the same.

Search in the proxy-list section. They get updated daily and if your in time they usually last a week.
