Need help about outbound links

I am using wordpress and using the yoast plugin. I am creating a Authority website and its say i have no outbound links to my post/article. Do i need to add some links to my posts? I really don't have the need to to that but i am confused right now, I don't know what to do.

i dont think you need to have out bond links from your site. if you want to have, you can but its not a must for you.

Contrary to what the above poster said, I would recommend having some outbound links in your articles.

Don't go crazy over it -- but try to include 1-3 outbound links to relevant sources in each article.

It depends on your niche a lot, but similar to having optimizes images/videos/content having relevant outbound (and internal) links will help your SEO a bit.

Its not easy to do. I have to find website post that is relevant to my post but not a direct competition for me and has to be authority site.
Are this outbound links crucial for seo? If not can i ignored them for now?
