Need help about domain transfer

Dear community,

I hope all of you are doing great.

I have some Godaddy domains about to expire, they are right now in grace period my question is can i transfer now to Namecheap and avoid the high renewal prices in Godaddy or It was only possible until the last day?

I think you can transfer them- try it and see what namecheap says but would recommend dynadot over them for price and ease of use

As stated above, you should try transferring the domains and see the outcome, but since they are in a grace state it means that they have already expired(correct me if I'm wrong).
If they have expired you can't transfer them over to namecheap.

I think you can transfer in grace but not redemption (30 days after expiry)

You will have to shell out the money to Godaddy first to get the domains back into regular state I am rather sure without even checking. I would not even risk it and pay Godaddy first, then wait for the domains to be in a regular state again and then transfer.

There may even be a waiting period after the domain is back to regular. Careful

You cant able to transfer Domains at this position, You have to renew the domain to get eligible for transfer. And again Name cheap will charge you the fees for transfer

So I suggest you to keep it on Godaddy itself if possible to avoid unwanted expenses
