You could make listings on local business listing sites, social media sites, and there are still some reputable directories out there. You could always try creating some link bait like infographics that are shareable or writing a blog and getting other sites to share your content.

You can't learn the SEO in single day but you start work from niche related blog comments and also work on low OBL blogs , submit articles and create free blogs.
