Hi everyone!!,

Hope you’re all doing well.

I’m currently working on a casino site that’s ranking #2 for one of my target keywords, and I’m trying to push it to the #1 spot. My plan right now is to build around 20 EDU links and then add about 100 PBN or sidebar links to article URLs as Tier-2 backlinks. We’re also planning to drip-feed all the links instead of adding them at once.

I’m not a pro in SEO, so I’d really appreciate some honest advice from people with more experience. Does this strategy sound right, or is there anything you think I should change or be careful about?

Thanks in advance for your guidance

got good strategy and promoting casino and betting niche with edu pages is the option and using of social app free method to generate traffics/users.promoting casino or betting niche with paid social media profiles is not allow and can cause suspend to social app profile.

Well, you need to consider many factors. First of all, how long your website could possibly live in google? Is it whitehat? If so, you have only 2 options of getting good links - PBNs and guest posting. Id personally recommend you to dilute this by placing some crowd and social links.

Any Expert here to help?

Your strategy could work, but be cautious with PBN links as they can carry risks if Google detects them; focus on quality over quantity and prioritize natural link building from relevant sources. Consider also improving on-page SEO, content quality, and user experience to strengthen your position.

Yeah, SEO helps but doing it right way makes it more helpful your strategy is workable it's fine

EDU links and PBNs can be risky while EDU links are usually safe, PBNs are considered high-risk and can lead to penalties if not done carefully. For long-term success, focus on natural, relevant backlinks, strong on-page SEO, and quality content; if you do use any high-risk links, keep quantities low, spread them out, and monitor traffic closely.

In the casino niche, links are the decisive factor for competition. You should consider building backlinks through guest posts to increase effectiveness.

If you’re already sitting at #2, brute-forcing with 100+ Tier-2 links is usually the point where people overdo it and trigger volatility instead of gains. At that level, small quality signals matter more than raw volume anchor control, link velocity, and making sure your on-page aligns with the current #1’s intent. A common mistake is mixing too many sidebar links at once; they create an obvious pattern. Keep tests slow and measured.

Hello Quest, position two is great but that plan might carry some risk. Large private networks could potentially be detected and might harm your ranking. Highly relevant niche edits could perhaps be a safer way to move up

“In the casino sector, backlinks play a crucial role in staying competitive. You should focus on acquiring high-quality guest post placements to improve overall performance and visibility.”

Your plan has potential, but be careful with PBNs they can be risky if detected by Google. Focus more on high quality, relevant backlinks and strong on page SEO to support long term ranking, rather than just volume.

Your plan has some solid foundations, but I would prioritize quality over quantity with backlinks avoid overly aggressive PBN usage unless you’re fully prepared for potential risks. Focus on relevant, niche-specific links and strong on-page signals too that’s what will give you more stable rankings long term.

You can post classified ads based on your business niche. Sharing links on relevant classified websites and related forums—especially those connected to casino sites—can help you significantly.

Competition in the casino space is largely driven by link strength. Securing placements on relevant sites through guest articles can boost credibility and search performance.

Congrats on reaching #2! Your approach of diversifying links is solid, but I'd suggest focusing more on natural, high-quality backlinks rather than relying heavily on PBNs. EDU links are great for trust, but make sure they’re relevant to your niche. Also, always prioritize user experience and content quality those factors will pay off in the long run. Drip-feeding is a good idea to keep things looking natural

Be careful with heavy PBN use; focus on quality, natural backlinks and SEO improvements.
