I am NOVICE, zero experience.

If you found this website you must have some seo experience. Good luck with your journey though, it's a tedious industry with a lot of misleading and unconfirmed info.

good keyword research
build quality backlinks
monitor your analytics
use internal linking
optomize your content

1- Find the best keywords (specially longtail keywords)
2- Content is King (Do the best or Hire the best article writer)
3- On Page is very important and do not over optimisation.
4- Internal Links
5- a- Off Page SEO: Forum posts, Social Media Promotions, directories, Blog Posts, etc these things will help you brand awareness.
b- Get Backlinks from High DA sites (DA 45+) and Good Organic Traffic.
c- Avoid PBN

These are most important basic things.
