I am a Toronto-based fitness professional. My online skills suck, so I need one of you smart folks to help me out.

I need some way to spread the word about me online, and get people to know me and buy my services.

I'll give you a good share of the profits that come through the site.

    Anyone interested?

Are you a personal trainer? Do you have a website? What services or products will you be selling? Are you currently working in a club or freelance? Are you looking to sell "online training" or in-person?

Let us know a little more and you may find help.

I've been pretty successful promoting another personal trainer in NJ.

    Hey MagicMike,

    Here's a bit more information.

I'm a fitness professional, and personal training is one of the services I offer. I also offer others, like semi-private personal training (2-4 people training at the same time), fitness consultations (a person gets to pick my brain for 30 minutes), exercise program design (I design a 6-week exercise program for someone to follow on their own), as well as corporate fitness training (I go into organizations, and train people there, either one on one or in small groups).

I currently work both in a club and freelance, but I'm looking to grow the freelance part.

I will not be selling online training, only in-person.

I do have a website. As I have no technical know-how, I hired a "professional" to design it, but that "professional" turned out to be quite unreliable, so now she either won't make any changes to my site, or if she does, it takes her weeks or months to do it (for some very simple jobs, that take less than 5 minutes). In case you're curious, the site is http://www.gtafitnesspro.com
Some of the information is outdated though.

So now that you (or anyone else reading this) know a bit more, what do you think?

Well, the theory is, you can make a killing on local SEO results, if you do your market research well.

    Hey imcool,

I need a bit more than just traffic to my site... I need an actual site lol. I know that I said I have a site, but this isn't the type of site I'd be getting clients from, especially not for something like personal training.

Do you also help with web design?

    Hi "Huggable M",

Took a look at your site and researched just a bit about your market. If you haven't yet decided to work with someone and you'd like to chat, just PM me here.

You need to get people to your site and then have your site designed so that you can convert those "hits" or prospects into clients... or at least into "orientations" so that you can sell them in person.

There certainly hope for you... let me know!
