I would appreciate any and everyone's feedback with their experience with Dhgate, especially when they had to file a DISPUTE?

Did you get a full refund?

How long did it take?

etc, etc

You'll normally get a refund of the item price and NOT the postage.

Sometimes you don't get a full refund either ,it depends on many factors, but on the whole DHGate sellers are very reliable

dhgate has known to be the lower end of the scale on these china websites. I would be careful if I were you, and do a search. I have bought 2-3 times from sellers there and I was 100% fine, but I always try to be as careful as possible.

DHgate SUCKS!

Made 2 purchases from what I thought were 'reputable' sellers, I WAS WRONG!

Had to charge both of them back! All items were defective!!!

I've only had one bad item from 6 purchases...just do some research before you buy...

I think DHgate is just the middle man so your experience will depend on the actual shipper. I've used them with good results. Took forever to ship though. Got held up in customs for a week.

Are there any other web sites like DHgate that anyone can recommend that I check out? (And not web sites like Alibaba.)

I have used dhgate with sucess, have done several shipments on a variety of goods. Really only had a problem with one order, an incomplete address was put on and it got sent back to china. After showing dhgate the tracking information they refunded the money. only problem is that it took forever to get the refund, about 2 months. so that is something to consider if your funds are limited.

and even though its associated with alibaba, I've also used aliexpress.com positive so far. unlike the regular alibaba, they also have a mediation/escrow process like dhgate
