so i had this idea for using almost e-whore tactics to make some money; figured it was better posted here because more people would probably view it and i'm kind of looking for feedback on whether this would work or not.
i was reading a thread someone posted with an ebook describing a method they use with a webcam service website (high referal payout in a giant niche) and i sort of thought of a modification.
their idea revolved around the concept of using paypal virtual credit cards to get someone to sign up for their offer while e-whoring or whatever; the obvious benefit being that most people won't do an offer for you while e-whoring because it involves a credit card; so you give them the virtual number and sure you end up paying for their purchase of whatever the service is but the referral you get off of it is much higher.
i saw a few downsides to this idea; one of which was commented specifically in the thread, and that is the person could take the virtual credit card and just buy something else, somewhere else (and you're fucked because they just bought a ps3 or whatever instead). the other downside is whether that person spends any more money later or not and maybe you get kicked off the referral network; i don't know.
anyways so i don't know if this is possible, i'm kind of a noob to BHW and blackhat tactics in general but what if you used a proxy to sign up for the referral site yourself with a different generated credit card each time; and you just sign up for the trial or wahtever and then close the card. i assume then that if they try to auto-renew they can't because all they had was the virtual card number and the account would just be closed. (is this what would happen; or would the funds for an auto-renew just be subtracted from the paypal account somehow?) anyway, i figure doing this your problem then becomes whether or not that sale was a good lead for the site, which of course its not because you're just doing it ten times a day, you have no interest in the service; but then i thought- you can just find a forum with some horny pervs and give them the username and login and they'll use the shit out of it, til it expires; then maybe they even decide to buy themselves and you might make an extra buck and everyone should stay happy, i think...
theres sites where you can pay $5 for a trial or whatever and YOU make 40 or so on the referral from that "sale" plus when it runs out if they convert you make a shit-ton more and such.
my questions on this because i haven't tried, but if you used a proxy to sign up for these in the first place, woudl that work? or would you just get tagged anyway? and then; can you switch around your address so it matches whatever address is attached to that card (so that you can use this method over and over again obviously, with new address, name, etc; each time)
maybe these are paypal related questions, which i'll look into later this week, but i didn't know if this tactic or a similar one had been used. let me know if you have any ideas on how this process would work or improvements to it; you could clean up with it if it worked as i think i might.
happy new years to everyone!!
