Need fast help - Forums and Copyrights

Hey guys,

recently some big "niche" porn-forums went down because their hoster didn't allow porn anymore. so im thinking to open a new forum. Now my question: what can happen to me when a forum member uploads pictures with copyrights to my forum? can i get problems then?

As long as you don't openly endorse it you will only get a DMCA complaint to take it down. However, DMCA complaints can also be sent to your host and they can decide to take your site down if you receive to many reports.

Thank you! So if someone would upload pictures to an imagehoster like imagebam, post pictures on my forum and I dont delete them, I'm still safe and cant get any "real" problems right? =)

Or could I just right a note like: Please only post pictures which are your own ones?
