Is it allowed to post your CB hoplink in your video description? Are there any restrictions from YT or CB?

I've never heard of anybody having a problem doing that. CB is one of the most relaxed affiliate programs.

But I think your conversions will be very low. Not many people will click on a link that looks like the hoplink. You'd be better off getting a domain and doing a redirect.

Of course you can do it. But it will be hard for people to read it and than write it. It's better to shorten your url. Or even better, get your own domain for redirect.
