Hello,

I am currently working a day job in an IT company. I don't know much about business, online marketing . All i know that it is hardwork and require dedication.
I don't want to start from scratch in internet marketing but I am a coder and would like create something useful for internet marketers or simple internet users. :o

I need your advise on what kind of application should i work on which can help me in terms of money and others in term of service. :)
I am a Java coder and worked in web-apps.

All opinions are welcome.. Thanks in advance. ;)

Advertise on BHW
You should post in a JV (joint venture) thread. Find a qualified online marketer/business guy to compliment your coding abilities. Have people throw out ideas in it, and see which one is a real pain that you could solve. Good luck, and update your journey when you get started :)

Well he certainly isn't asking for ice cream, sounds like he wants ideas to me...

Dedication and hard work are what is required especially early on.
Even your best ideas may fall flat, put keep going and you will find success.
Its a good way to start, to look for someone to JV with.
Do you do any other languages apart from Java? PHP? Do you know SQL?
 
Make a Clickbank Android app. I'd pay for that. So would hundreds of other Internet Marketers.

@Phobos, looks like mobile is still untouched :) in terms of marketing.. Can you please elaborate what do you mean by clickbank software. i know about the clickbank site and and how it works.
 
I cannot say about rating because I have never faced a problem in java that i wasn't able to solve but still will give 8 to myself
 
Java is a good place to start, it allows web side applications, client applications and android apps. I would add in SQL aswell, if you don't have it, learn it.
These applications typically involve data and you need to store it and access it from somewhere
