need domain name coupon + hostgator hosting

I am looking to start my internet marketing journey. I have got lots of ideas to start and already have domains that I will develop in the future.

I live in the UK and cant use the 99c coupon for godaddy. can anyone provide a coupon that I can use in the uk?


I am going to get hosting at hostgater. i would like to use the affiliate link of a member on here :)

can i get a domain from one company then get hosting through hostgator? will there be extra charges for that?
 
Namecheap's whoisguard is provided free with your first year of a domain, after that you have to pay for it, but the prices is pretty low and you can get packs for multiple domains.

I use namecheap for all my domains.

Thanks for the help scrapefox. i cant reply becuase i havent got enough posts yet. any reason why godaddy charge so much more for it? feel like ive wasted a lot of cash on godaddy if it does the same thing?

will i be able to buy a domain from namecheap then hosting from hostgator? i havent done anything like this before so have no idea. ive done enough reading now and want to learn by trying and learning from my mistakes

I guess Godaddy charge that amount because they can get away with it, nothing more, nothing less.

To answer your question, yes you can easily get a domain from Namecheap and use hosting from HostGator. You'll get your nameservers in an email from hostgator when you signup and then you need to enter them in your namecheap control panel.

Godaddy has a coupon going on right now with free whois for 5 dollars.

pay the domain with credit card and u will be able to use the codes on godaddy
 
i havent got a credit card. im happy with namecheap even if i paid full price its cheaper than godaddy.

i used your link to get hosting did you get the comission?

im following a tutorial on youtube to make wordpress site and im waiting for it to install wordpress.

has anyone got any tips to avoid the site getting hacked. As soon as im allowed im gonig to change the sign in from admin to something else and also choose a different password
