Hey guys,

I do ORM for a client and need a Canadian news site link de-indexed. Is that even possible?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think it is possible to 'de-index' a 'site link', not the 'site'. I've never heard about something like this!

Only the person that owns the website can get google to remove it but i dont see you getting it done if it a very big website......

When a website get huge and popular and earning the owner good money things like bad links and bad post all ignored shouldnt be but is..

if that was so simple then every one can get other competitors sites down and no provider left :D

Find out if Canada has a "right to be forgotten" law. In Europe you're able to remove content about you using this law.

Can't you outrank that page with the positive reviews/about pages or social profiles like Facebook, Twitter? I am certain that these are higher authority in Google's eyes than Canadian news website.

You're going to have to outrank it. THANKFULLY what you're asking, is not possible. Imagine how fucked up it would be to have the power to just have people deindexed, at will. I'd take spots 1 - 20, for "make money online". Then again, someone else will come along and deindex me. Yes, this idea would lead to a massive clusterfuck.
