Need clarification on keyword cannibalization. same 1 keyword on all the blog posts ?

Let's say, for example, I have a blog about "cats."

I could make a post called "best food for cats" with content and titles inside such as:

• "Best price for cat food."
• "Healthier food for cats." and the answering of questions that are asked on google.

Now I make another post named "most expensive cat breeds" and go on like the previous one with content as: "European cat breed," etc...

In this case, is this considered keyword cannibalization, or is this the correct way to do it? Since every blog has a different long tail keyword but everyone has the same single keyword.

It's fine.

Cannibalization is when you write "Best price for cat food in 2021" and then you write the same title with 2022.

There is nothing wrong when your content makes sense, still, if you feel so you can use 301 redirection.

Keyword cannibalization is when you use multiple longtail keywords with minimal changes. Google algo fails to understand user intent as all these articles seem to serve the same purpose. In your case, you can write articles for cost-effective, healthy, expensive, and best cat foods. The user intent changes from article to article, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Don't over think on this, just add the main, sub and google suggestion in the content. Keep it natural as possible, and make your presentation look good.
