what is your definition of cheap? Also might help to say what specs you are needing or what program you want to run. As the cheapest VPS will be an OPenVZ but depending on your program you may have to go with a KVM to get dedicated resources for it to run right. Two different price points there.

Just a suggestion for you.
Normally cheap vps service didn't provide high specification with the package and maybe will not suitable for your needs.
Maybe you can consider again to take more high spec VPS so that able to cover your needs of your work.

When you say they you are looking for cheap services then be ready to accept that fact that somewhere you will have to sacrifice on the quality of the service

A year ago I purchased a dirt cheap VPS for around 8€ for the whole year. Worked nicely, but would automatically shut down if I abused it too much. Had to PM the owner, who would have to manually start it again. For 8€ it was worth it.
