I don't need unmetered bandwidth. In fact, I don't need much bandwidth at all.

can you recommend me a cheap VPS provider like $2 per month?
I tried searching on google but I am so confused, I don't know what it is that I need. There is VPS "hosting" but I don't think that's what I am looking for?
And they have all these weird words. What is VKM and openVZ? which one do I need? what's managed and unmanaged? what's dedicated vps?
I just need a VPS where I can log on using remote connection and use firefox to comment on blogs. Linux or windows OS doesn't matter, I just need to use firefox.
bandwidth is not an issue because I won't be running bots.
I will be commenting on 200 blogs per month max.
offshore would be nice so they ignore spam report. But I guess offshore is also bad because the IPs are probably already abused.
What is the penalty if your VPS provider receives spam report? I don't care if I lose the VPS and lose a couple of bucks. But is there more to it than that? can they report me to my ISP?

where can I sign up for VPS with these features: cheap, remote desktop connection, clean ip?

$2 / month? i dont think it exist,
your best chance maybe using AWS EC2 its free as long you have CC to verify your account

cosigning aws ec2

try other services too such as softlayer, digitalocean, etc.

you can also pay hourly for some services

for that you can get a proxy .... no VPS

@DDuce, man thanks for pointing out OVH VPS yeah, that's cheap.

look at vultr c=o m and you get a $5 free trial, They bill hourly for the vps

yes I confirm : OVH is good & cheap
that's where i bought my VPS

You could try with one year free Amazon WS EC2, as they stated above

Yes you can get VPS for $2 and you have to know how to install OS and other stuff like VNC, Gnome/Xfce on VPS. I know this pretty well.
For running a remote PC your VPS must have
5 GB Space
256 RAM for KVM or 512 RAM for OpenVZ

Here is some cheap VPS providers list:

AquaNX
HostMada
Hudson Valley Host
RootNerds.com
HostWithLinux Ltd

If you failed to find their offer don't hesitate to message me

Reputed BST is available at marketplace you can go and search there.

You just need a proxy, not vps. And you will save so much time.

In continuation to the above suggestion, no doubt, Amazom AWS EC2 would be the best option for you. I am also using its free tier that gives 30GB SSD, 1GB Ram and a 300MBps connection (with 15 GB monthly transfer), absolutely free for an year.

P.S: Speed may be different from different data-centers I guess.
