So I'm not completely sure what this can be considered as (blackhat/whitehat) so I've just stated it to be "Greyhat."

The fact is lots of people don't get enough impressions of their banners. So this is a small alternative. And it works because I've tried it and the affiliate banners on my site usually range anywhere from 5,500-6,000 impressions daily with only 200-300 visitors.

Simply go to the link below (replace xx with "tt") and follow the instructions and place the code on your site.

hxxp://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/fadescroll.htm

Now in the code, find the following:

Code:
var fcontent=new Array();
begintag='<div style="font: normal 14px Arial; padding: 5px;">'; //set opening tag, such as font declarations
fcontent[0]="<b>What\'s new?</b><br>New scripts added to the Scroller category!<br><br>The MoreZone has been updated. <a href='../morezone/index.htm'>Click here to visit</a>";
fcontent[1]="Dynamic Drive has been featured on Jars as a top 5% resource, and About.com as a recommended DHTML destination.";
fcontent[2]="Ok, enough with these pointless messages. You get the idea behind this script.</a>";
closetag='</div>';

Replace the text for each "fcontent" variable with your affiliate banners and links.

You can also add more banners by adding the following code AFTER "fcontent2." Just don't forget to +1 the digit for every "fcontent" tag you add.

For example, the code should look like this (if you want 6 banners to rotate.)

Code:
var fcontent=new Array();
begintag='<div style="font: normal 14px Arial; padding: 5px;">'; //set opening tag, such as font declarations
fcontent[0]="Put Your Banner Here";
fcontent[1]="Put Your Banner Here";
fcontent[2]="Put Your Banner Here";
fcontent[3]="Put Your Banner Here";
fcontent[4]="Put Your Banner Here";
fcontent[5]="Put Your Banner Here";
closetag='</div>';

Now, depending on how many seconds you set for it to rotate (which you set at the beginning of the code) your banners will rotate, giving you a impression for each time it shows.

Good luck....

^^ I wouldn't think so, what's bad about rotating banners around with JavaScript. But some networks might add the restriction of this sooner or later if they find this so jump on it now.
