I was planning to create a blog with mostly random topics 'cause I think specific niche blogging would be hard for me due that I don't really write well on a specific area or idea and has a low budget and resources to manage it. Would this still be a profitable and great to work with adsense?
And I still don't get the rules of SEO and back-linking. Please help me finding some useful resources without buying a lot of service to promote it.

The blogging model you are talking about is synonymous with article directories. Most of the got slapped after the release of the first panda update due to the tons of low quality articles they were accepting. Therefore, you have to keep quality in mind while writing and publishing your articles.

Yes it's perfect for Adsense monetization as long as your site is receiving a good amount of traffic.

As for backlinks and SEO, build a blog network if you can afford it. Here is a guide to assist you with that: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezjbdy1v0u850mo/QuickStartGuide-BuildingBlogNetworks.pdf

Getting any of your articles to rank will be very difficult. Google will look to see how often a subject is talked about and this is used to determine authority on the subject. If you website has 10 articles about a topic, it is more likely that what the user is looking for is on your website. If you have one article about it, the chances of them finding what they're after reduce significantly.

honestly, your blog would be lost in obscurity without some specific topic. Random articles/posts will do nothing for you. Take some time and think about things you really enjoy doing. Then pick the one thing you like the most and go from there.

I think you should read up more about SEO before starting something like this. You're a little misguided but it can easily be fixed with a few reads here and there. It's actually harder to go for a wide range of topics for a blog rather than have a specific one because you'll just end up with a ton of random articles that are ranked very poorly or even at all.

Just one more for a specific topic to follow. If you are thinking long-term about building a quality high-ranking website while being the only contributor there, then you better pick a niche and concentrate. Otherwise, you will be floating here and there and nowhere. And you can't be an expert in everything, so people won't take you very seriously, but will read you more as a place of personal musings of a random kid.

Going with one niche though, you can later get into affiliate marketing and earn with them. But first, get your gig started and learn as you go.

Well, it seems to me that Google is always like a boss that is hard to please for promotion. Just make your content fresh and relevant as well in being updated.
