Need an SEO provider, budget $3000 - Experience so far

I had earlier posted a thread regarding hiring a legit white hat SEO provider, well i have increased my budget from $2000 to $3000 pm. Just in-case you don't remember. We run a tech site that was hit by both panda and penguin. We need and SEO company to get us out of the penalty box and to promote our site.


So far i have approached the following companies...

- NetMark - Got a proposal of $3000 a month. The said they will spend the first few months removing bad links and then build good links and fix site errors. But when i Googled them i came across alot of complaints regarding these guys.

-Think Big Sites - Will do a complete Link Disavow for $2500/month and $2400/month from then on. Googled them and saw complaints about them too.

- Straight North - Have scheduled a meeting with them.

- EliteSEM - Link clean-up fees start at $8,000 per month with a 3 month minimum commitment. (Out of my budget)

- Vertical Measures - Just spoke to them waiting for a reply.

- Internet Marketing Ninjas - Just emailed them.

- Bruce Clay India - Spoke to their country head. They said they will first conduct a site audit which cost's $5000 and then fix whatever they find and have quoted me a monthly retainer of $3200.

- eBrandz - Haven't heard from them since two weeks after i added them to my webmaster tools and analytics account by their request.

- Miami SEO Company - The have an odd system of payment they said they will charge me $300 per page. I don't know if that's good or bad.

- Site Ladder - Haven't heard from them since two weeks after i added them to my webmaster tools and analytics account by their request.

- Search Pro Sytems - Just emailed them.

- Digital Current - Just emailed them.


So guys, do you have any experience with any of these or any other SEO company? Please help pick the best option. Thanks in advance.

You can save lots more dollar by hiring SEO providers here from marketplace, We have got experienced guy in this field. You just need to find right guy for your campaign.

I assume you already got tons of PM's from so called providers here. Make sure they are Jr. Vip and check their history on BHW fro good / bad reviews.

If you just have a little time or you can efford a freelancer then I would build my own PBN, make 10 - 20 sites, great looking, SEO optimized and relevant websites, not some shitty quick launche site. And you are good to go.

Once you have this in place, buy some Social Signals, Web 2.0 and Press release and you can see your website climb up in Google. works pretty good.

Just my 2cent's.

I don't have the time to deal with SEO. Also I don't want to go the link buying route, instead i would like to create link baity content and promote those articles etc.

I want to know if anyone of you have hired the companies above? I am not interested in buying links from BHW.

There's more than just link buying on BHW, there's a few services that offer full custom campaigns.

If you want link removal, a lot of services here offer that as well for like a fraction of the price, or it's included with their service.

I don't trust the services here. I would rather take the services of a company that is doing seo for example Techcrunch, bgr, engadget so i know they are legit.

With that budget you could hire an expert full-time on oDesk.com Keep in mind that you will pay company's electricity, water, snacks and employee salaries if you hire a company. Most SEO agencies are good selling services but not providing them, freelancers are 10x efective because they have passion. You can also find a famous SEO blogger and pay $60-$150 for high-quality services, just search on Google and send them a message. $3,000 it's a very nice budget.

Getting out of a penalty is not easy and you have got 2 of them. I can help you (paid service) pm me if you are intrested.

Also, if you want to trash that site then let me know. I like to experiment with these type of site and will pay you a good amount for it.

Its not easy to pick a freelancer, how do i know if they are really any good? Also, i don't want to find out the hard way if they aren't any good. The companies i have listed are industry leader, so i can place some trust on them.

Guys, i dont mind paying i just want some company or real experts to deal with our site. I would need these experts to provide me some good evidence of their positive involvement with major sites they claim to work with.

Not sure what your reference is too but that's our website first and FB page second.

@OP, a number of those firms you listed are pretty useless and have bad reputations, use caution with anybody giving you a quote without looking at your site.
Take up t0mmys offer of a chat and check out The Marketplace, look at the people that have been operating for a number of years with good reviews then speak to them and get a feel for who you would like to do business with.
Unfortunately because you have posted your budget, you will probably attract a few scammers and well meaning amateurs, when you speak to people make sure they tell you how your money will be spent.
You will probably get a number of PM's from people that will promise the earth, ignore them.

Man they are not leaders in SEO industry they just pay a lot to advertise nothing else.
You will mostly pay their physical office, table tennis, table football and billiards.
I'm not saying that they do not do the job, i just saying it is all overpriced.

I met a guy who worked for dejanseo, and he told me how they working.
80%+ of all work is outsourced to fiverr and just check their packages, starter is around $2000+

We worked for many Australian companies also and they all do the same like everyone else.
SEO is hard work and no one want to do that, all of them looking for cheap solution beside their countries.

Thank you to all you guys for your concern. I am extremely cautious as i will be spending almost 40,000 a year. That's no joke for me.
