    Hey guys,
So I have been looking more and more into getting into the Youtube niche. I know alot of people just remake random videos upload them onto multiple accounts and hope for the best. Although this seems like a good idea...is not building up a reputation as a "tuber" important and worth anything either? I was wanting to do things about video games...like news, previews, commentaries, etc... Although there is alot of people in this niche as well I feel like it would not be a bad idea for me to try to make a few videos. But if you guys think it is a horrible idea to try to make money that way then I should spend my time elsewhere...So what do you guys think?

legitimate video creation versus spun videos

You can make money either way : by trying to get "famous YouTuber" or just reupload existing videos.

I wouldn't say it's important that you get some reputation as a "tuber" if you want to earn money. I've been doing reuploading before, and I kept it simple - just added intros and annotations to videos with my links and I've been making much money.

Nothing specific. Sometimes it was music, sometimes sports, funy videos etc. Basically, anything I found interesting.

I built my gaming youtube channel 100% legit with no bots and got partnered by Machinima.
I have a little over 15,750 subscribers and around 7.2 million views.
You can make good money if you know what you are doing.
As a matter of fact I just got paid today and let me tell you, I'M LOVING IT.
It's strange with youtube because it feels like I just got a check, and now I'm getting another one and I haven't even made a video in months.
If you don't know what you are doing you are going to fail because there are thousands of people who make gaming videos.
I have a few tricks up my sleeve and since you are a fellow gamer I will share them with you gladly. Feel free to send me a private message and I'll help you get all set up.

Congrats on your success so far. I would also like to know some tips. However, I don't do gaming, I do more of a music creativity. Please PM me your tips and I will share with you my videos if you are interested. :)

Honestly, I would suggest you do something different. Something that no one is really doing on Youtube. There are too many gaming creators and videos out there already. It may be hard for you to break in. I can show you what I do which I haven't seen people doing it on youtube. You can just pm me.

You can break into any niche, especially games if you know what to do. Do you see anyone actually being anothing other than lazy on the gaming channels? No, you just see 99% lazy and the top 1% that actually work smarter than the rest. You simply just need to start using BH BSTS and a lot of other services to promote your channel. If you have to, you can even make a sub channel that sells products and stuff from My Likes.

Oh God, I just gave someone courage and a set plan to start becoming famous, cue the music and cue the trolls to come in and suck the hope dry. So if you even think you got something people want, go spend $1,000 seeing if people want your goods or not. If you aren't willing to make money and promote your channel, then you aren't worth viewing.
