Need an On Page SEO Guide / Site Set-up

Hi everyone,

i am looking for a guide/template i can use when setting up my site post wordpress installation,

im looking for either an external guide or a BHW method that provides me the setup i need for good on page optimisation and theme set up.

additionally any advice on the types of plugins i need to be installing would be greatly appreciated

You should install a good SEO plugin like Yoast. It will provide advice on your pages and allow you to customize all your meta tags.

Use the search option buddy and you will be amazed.

use ibp 12.... it doesnt works on any algorithm like u need have key in title h1 blah blah blah!! compare actual competitors and see how their onpage is and optimize as it recommends!! i am using it from year and it really helped me a lot!

The best place to start would be with target keywords for your website. Choose the keywords and their variations that you want to include so searchers can find your content.

You will want to include these keywords in the content on your website as well as the architecture of the website (meta tags, alt tags, and titles). Choose keywords that are important to the product or service you are marketing and build a page around each one. There are certain characteristics as to how you do this such as keyword density in website copy and the number of relevant keywords you should include in meta tags.

There are tons of great Wordpress plugins but I'll mention some essential ones to get you started. If you are planning to get the most out of the blogging platform, get the Akismet or Disqus commenting plugins. Both are great for fighting spam comments on your blog. You should also look into a good SEO plugin. I highly recommend either Yoast or SEO Ultimate. Both allow you to easily enrich your pages with keywords and perform other basic and more advanced SEO tasks. I would also get the Google analytics plugin for Wordpress instead of installing code manually.
