Need an Ebay type script

Hi guys,

Someone I know wants me to make him a website with an ebay type script which I'm not sure about doing or where to look??

He wants it so that users can sign up and post their items for sale/auction and that the users cannot communicate with each other. I already have hosting etc, I'm looking to make this on wordpress if that is possible?
