need an automatic traffic generating script/software

I am not sure if this can be done because I am not a programmer, but would not mind learning.

There has to be an easier way to get traffic. I was wondering if someone could wite a script or build some software that could grab traffic from the web and send it to my websites. This "ole" safelist, traffic exchanges, articles,etc are very time consuming, expensive, and of late are not producing "great results"

There might be somthing out there but I have not been able to find it. I don't want to do anything that is not ethical.

Can someone help me out.
