Need Advise - Native Ad Arbitrage

I'm just getting into arbitrage and so far I've created a viral blog with trending stories and videos that I find all over the web. I started loading my blog with content about 30 or so stories so far and try to add a story a day if I can.

Now I'm trying to drive traffic to test out the ads I've placed on it. I use Nativeads.com as they approved me very quickly and I liked the support much better than content.ad which also approved very easy but I've heard horror stories about payouts etc.

The way I've been driving traffic right now is just through Facebook and my twitter. so about 50 to 100 pageviews a day but I've had to invest in the odd facebook ad in order to do that.

I'm only making about $0.20 to $0.40 a day (on a good day) so obviously facebook ads and my measly little traffic I generate is not really working. I've already spent around $40 on facebook and made nothing in return.

Now my next step is to use Nativeads or taboola to drive traffic but I'm nervous that my investment isn't going to pay off. I talked to Taboola and set up my account now I'm in limbo.. Do I take the plunge and invest a couple hundred bucks or wait till my site matures a bit more?

I'm working on getting indexed and search engine optimization right now to hopefully boost some organic traffic as well as building my audience on social media.

I'm hoping someone here could give some advise on driving traffic through native ads. Is it worth the investment or is there a better way to drive engaging traffic?

The way your doing it is just not right. First of all 100 page views is nothing if you expect to make some decent money with this method,
so the more traffic the more data you will have to optimize your campaigns.

If you do not have money to spend and loose while you learn how to be in profit then I suggest you do not even waist your time and money but if you do then do not plan to start with
big players like Taboola or Outbrain, they are very expensive and not necessarily good for this. Forget about Facebook unless you know how to work with it (I can see you do not)

Tips (For A Viral Site like yours):
- Make excellent content, not good but excellent!
- The content should be original as of something different that no one have seen before and will attract you to read/watch it.
- Content should be in the form of a list with over 15 pages to create more page views per article. At least for the ones you are making campaigns with!
- Traffic wise you can have 2 approaches; Cheap/Volume or Expensive/Quality. The end result should be some how the same in terms of profit except that
with cheap traffic you have to be more aware of bots, therefore you need to know how to prevent them or you might get banned by the Adnetworks.
- For monetizing your website you need at least 3 Adnetwork. Forget about adsense!
- Not all the traffic you buy will work for every Adnetwork out there, so you need to test and test what work best for your traffic.
- Not all the Adnetworks you buy traffic from will give you the same result for every content you promote in your website.
- Be aware of bot traffic as it will get you banned and you will loose your money. (All Networks sell bot traffic) some more some less but all do.
- You need enough money to invest for at least 60 days before you cash in your earned money.
- If you are driving traffic through native ads, check what others are doing. Clickbait titles and listicles.

The list goes on and on and on, but I will not elaborate more in it. It took me years and lots of money to learn the ropes and still do not know everything. Like everything you need consistency and hard work, it is doable and profitable!

I have a number of eZines and effectively they run on ad arbitrage which is what you are looking to do, but the massive advantage is...

1. The eZine is for specific genres and I collect readers emails, meaning I only have to pay for them once.

2. The leverage can be massive for example on one of my eZines it costs circa $1.00 per subscriber but if they follow through on all in the eZine I get over $400 in commission, and about $50 of that is for free things.

3. As new relevant offers come along you can then re-target them with email.

After reading your post you are doing an awful lot of work for something that would never give you a lot of profit. Have you perhaps considered creating an eZine instead it is just the same amount of work but will make a lot more money? As once you have decided to purchase traffic you do not have to worry about if it is viral or not just interesting to your reader.

You need more than basic viral news type websites, people see them everyday.
