Need advise and tactics

As i introduced myself before. I have been a nuts and bolts back end programmer for the past 12 years. Just recently i have become very interested in learning seo methods and tactics. i have a new client that is in the firearm industry and i need to start my endeavor on this site. I have implemented basic seo techniques such as sitemaps, meta, title tags (well formed search engine friendly html product pages). He has about 150 products to get listed and they are getting listed. 2 terms I am already no. 1 in google for.

What i need is advise as to how to grow this site organically over a period of time and how to go about doing it? Please remember i am a nub and seo so pls be kind in your advise. Thanks in advance!

well, one tactic that is still good till this day is writing unique and valuable content every day and publishing it on your website. granted doing this daily is a pain but that is a sure fire way of rising up the serps. also do link exchanges between similiar sites and build a portal of related sites al linked tour main site.

use the search funstion of this forum as well. it helps

I have taken those steps and have about 6 sites with unique content on them pointing to the main site. As for link exchanges..? It is the firearm industry and those sites are super hard to find just to put a link on. Does anyone here have any connections on getting backlinks in the firearm industry?

You can look up angelas backlinks or look up linkjuicer on this site. They're good ways of building backlinks.

Try to increase your alexa rank as well. I mean, this is a company and the most important thing is traffic, right?

easiest way to increase alexa ranking? Anything out there that can cloak searching on alexa for a specific site? Do that help the actual ranking process? Any thoughts?
